gud pm bai. ang best option nimu is to visit the local bike shops here in Cebu para maka feel ka sa price differences between the stores and also para ma tabangan ka nila sa sakto na sizing sa imu bike.

a few things to really consider when buying or building a new bike are the following:

    1. intended use - para recreational ba or advanced or competition (future proof) also important kung cross country or downhill or dirtjumping or triathlon or unsa pa diha imu gusto himu.on. daghan ra ba klase sa setup specific for a certain purpose. all this may seem unimportant to you right now but you have to take into consideration kung unsa imu gusto puhon. for example, naa ko kaila nga deretso lang pataka ug palit, then what happened was he got a downhill fork on a cross-country frame which is a disaster. then, there are some who bought the cheapest components and then later ended up always upgrading ky wala ka uyon sa performance sa parts. so you have to know these things before hand. you might even try borrowing a friend's bike for a few days so you can get to feel it personally if you like biking. i know a couple nga nag ibog-ibog lang sa bike and namalit ug tag 40k na bike each then less than 2 weeks ky gi pul.an na, hehehe.

    2. height and body size- importante kaayo ni ky para sakto ug sukod imu bike para nimu. dili tanan bike kay sakto sa usa ka tawo. kung gamay ka ug lawas and height, lets say 5'5" then around size 16 or Small imu frame but kung around 6" ka, then problema na kay lisod mangita ug L or XL na frame unless high end. importante kaayo ni ky kung dili sakto ang size sa imu bike, bisan pa ug tag half million na ky dili japun ka comfortable ana inig biking nimu.

join pud ug local biking forums ky daghan maka tabang nimu didto.

a few bike shops that I would recommend in terms of service and prices are JES bike shop located likod sa USJ-R and YKK. Some high end bike shops are Dans Bike Shop sa may Escario, Aison sa AS Fortuna, Rox sa Ayala, Bikecology sa BTC, and Cyclelogic sa Parkmall.

use Google as well, its your friend. before you buy anything, i-Google sa una para kabalo ka sa feedback bahin ana.

if you have any further questions, send me a PM and I will try to help in anyway I can.
