akong problem is, i have a laptop COMPAQ presario... nagamit pani nku a day ago I guess, pero pag buntag ana gi try nku on balik.. dli nman mo padayon ug boot.. i mean..mo siga ra iyang power button pero dli na mo padayon.. ( it won't start up ) wla pd mkita sa screen... unsa kaha damage ani? sure ko dli monitor.. kay dli man sya mo boot.. pero ma on nku sya igo ra mo light up ang power button and that's it..

if sakto akong duda.... pila pd kaha damage ani i mean presyo ron if ako ni ipa ayo? ingon cla mahal kono.. tabla ra mo palit brandnew.... sayang man sab gud... any advice? TNX

Kung naa pay warranty, dalha ug balik sa imong gi palitan..

kung wala na, try removing the memory and then place it on the other slot.

@TS: Don't be too alarmed! calm down so that you can think of a solution. Usually laptop cause for that is HEAT so the issues occur. The best thing for you to do is bring your laptop to the store where you purchased then ask for direct replacement since its new.

bitaw TS, try reseating the RAMS, mostly connectors ana tends to shrink or expand due to sudden changes of temperatures, try lang kuno, mostly kung ing-ana nga symptoms, that`s the first thing nga akong buhaton, hantud mo-abot na sa binungkagay ug reheat (Hot Air)

if naa pa warranty mas maayo imo na dalon didto sa imo gipalitan nga shop. If wala na, sulayi ug abri dayon reseat ang ram.

i have diay a COMPAQ presario cq40..

sad to say almost 2 years nani nku na acquire so most probably expire na ang warranty.... dli man gud ko sweto aning laptop... way blema if desktop kay naa man ko gamayng background pero if LT na gni storyaan yaw nlang jud.. mahadlok pd ko mo ukab kay bsi mas mo daku nya ang problema kung mag pa scientist ko.. hahaha

anyways... mag monitor lang ghapon ko bsi.. naay mas dghan pang mga suggestion ug mga reply nga mka tabang

again if e.ON nku ang LT.. igo ra mo siga ang power button.. black screen.. dead screen whatever you call that.. dli mo siga ang monitor... pero i'm very sure nga dli jud monitor ang problema...

I doubt mura og sa memory na. Try resetting the hardisk and the memory. Another option is remove the battery then use your power adapter..
