Courier Business (Within Metro Cebu)

I'm an on line seller and my problem is courier, I use JRS but you have to go to their branch pa specially if you're just going to send 1 package, hassle kaayo.

Istorians specially Cebu sellers and Companies who uses couriers, need your input with this kind of business.

Want to start within Cebu City first then eventually if the business is stable will have it Nationwide too.

1. Naa na ba door-to-door service na courier here in Cebu and affordable like Xend Express in Manila?
If yes, what courier and how much is the rate?

2. Does Cebuanos patronize courier service as mode of sending/receiving their orders than meet-up?

3. As seller, do you prefer meet-up or courier?

4. As buyer, do you prefer meet-up or courier?

5. For companies, do you use courier or you have your own messenger?

6. Are you willing to use the of courier services (door-to-door) within Metro Cebu if the price is
45php - 55php for 500g - 1 kilo in weight?

7. Approximate how many packages/documents you send via courier in a week?

I also thought of this before, you have to consider competition. The BIG guy in the courier services industry can easily step on you. You have to offer services like same day delivery, within-an-hour delivery and you really have to start cheap. You also have to be really consistent.

You can also offer a service like an errand boy. Errand boy is like buy me something from somewhere, or get me something from somewhere. For me this is an untapped market because there are no errand boy services here yet.
