Default If I check my own profile, will that be counted as a visitor count?

Just curious if the visitor count includes those times when I was checking my own profile for messages, editing and things like that.

    Thanks.

But then, that is just my idle mindset talking out loud.

I believe it is a related event and feature to be able to send pm to one's self too. Isn't it better to trigger some pop-up that says, "you are sending a pm to yourself, do you want to continue?"

Yes, I asked about a year ago, and on the contrary of having seemingly forgotten, I have not, this is rather taking a fresh query.

I don't know what you mean by 'better answers,' but it seems to me the answers posted in your previous thread are already enough.

As for it being part of a revamp after one year, it's not really that big an issue to be covered by an upgrade. Which leads me to question...

Why would visitor count even matter? Honestly I'm stumped, I see no practical reason for it...

Well, it is not big, and it may not even be an issue.

Now, on the relevance of a visitor count, it was not my idea to put a visitor counter, so I presume you were asking me, why I asked about visitor count's relevance?

Personally it may not have to do with practicality. Let me put it this way, "how many passengers are in a bus, including driver and passenger?" Or it could just have been, "how many passengers?" Even trees have green and brown leaves if you notice, not just simply "leaves".

It is like knowing how many in a memory card are still images, and how much are videos.

I once had in my care, money belonging to my troops in the field, I had to be aware how much was mine and how much was not mine, even though the money was contained in my wallet.

    This is just me.
