* * * Don't waste your time applying unless you are experienced in industrial electrical construction. * * *
I have been on big jobs like this so what they mean by 6-11's is you work 6 days a week for 11 hours a day or night depending on the shift. There should be additional pay if you are on the night shift, but it is not mentioned in the job call, But in my opinion only whores and thieves work at night !
On most jobs there is a 15 minuite coffee break in the morning, 1/2 hour lunch, 15 minuite coffee break in the afternoon and 1/2 hour lunch for dinner.
The $4,19 vacation pay is added to every hour you work for the first 8 hours and $6.28 for the over time hours.
So to calculate that, just figure $46,05 for straight time hours and $69.07 for over time hours.
Meaning the first 8 hours of work is $46,05 Canadian dollars an hour, so with an 11 hour day, the additional overtime 3 hours would be at the rate of $69,07 Canadian Dollars an hour. An 11 hour day you would make $575.61 Canadian Dollars.
Since it is a 6 day work week, Saturdays would be all over time pay. So 11 hours at $69.07 would be $759.77 Canadian Dollars.
Mon - Friday at $575.61 equals $2878.05 plus Saturdays at $759.77 would be $3637.82 a week for 3 months .
You would walk away with a total of $43,653.84 Canadian Dollars or at todays exchange rate ( 1,825,346.25 PHP ) in 3 months.
Most likely you will be living in a man camp with a bunch of other road trash, but I think it will be better than working in the Middle East. Since it is Canada I would expect a lot of beer drinking and trash talk.
