Hello everyone! I'm starting out this thread for the benefit of all ladies out there (like me) who need an advice on how to remove underarm hairs. Can anyone here give suggestions or recommendations on how to effectively remove underarm hairs? Plucking, they say, can darken your underarm. Do you think underarm waxing is fine? Any bright ideas?

I understand that there's already a thread about "dark UA" .. This thread is about "UA hair waxing" though.. If in case this kind of thread already exist, my sincerest apology...

Hi, bulaklak. It is advised that istead of shaving and plucking, underarm hair should be removed through waxing using sugaring wax. Ihad my underarm waxed in a salon before and the really were really good as hair was removed at the roots but it can ve very costly.

You can actually make the sugaring wax at home and have someone assist you with the waxing process. Check out the recipe at www.hodgepodge.co.nr

There is another kind of underarm wax aside from sugaring wax but this one uses beeswax. I tried this myself and you have to reheat it everytime you want to use it. Another thing is that it can get very sticky and you need a special solvent to remove it as it is not water-soluble. In case you want to check it out, the brand name is EPELIN and it's usually availableat Hortaleza or HBC.

Generally, underarm waxing will eventually lessen hair growth. It will also give underarm skin a smoother and lighter apperance as it removes dead skin cells as well.

I don't think people will raise their eyebrows at this thread. Your concerns are legitimate and it is so tiring to check out the other underarm threads without having to read through all the whitening products for sale. I think we do have the classified sec for that.

are you a masochist or something? kidding aside, pwede man but it can get really painful because mas dghan man mo ug balahibo sa UA and mas coarse pajud. medyo naa man gani sting sa girls sa inyo pa kaha.
