Job Title: 3D Animator
MoAnima Inc. is looking to hire awesome 3D animators who would love to work on the biggest video game titles (PS3, XBOX 360, PSP, Wii, PC) in the world. If you are an animator with at least 3 years of experience who loves playing video games, this may be the job for you!
Duties and Responsibilities:

• * Be able to animate complex 3D sequences (characters, creatures, environment, props, etc).
• * Able to use Maya and learn various 3D software packages such as 3DS Max, Motionbuilder, etc.
• * Participates as a team player in determining various solutions and able to provide feedback to other members of the team.
• * Documenting scene details, problems & solutions, and other information required.
• * Able to mentor junior animators and create training modules when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• * Degree or diploma in fine arts/animation or 3 years in the 3D animation industry with a strong demo reel.
• * Strong foundation in animation.
• * At least 3 years of experience in 3D animation using Maya.
• * Detail oriented with a passion for games.

Rubicon Studios Manila is currently seeking experienced key talent for upcoming long format CG (Maya) projects. These positions are expected to start in late March / early April, and are full time contract
positions for up to 12 months and are based in Manila, Philippines.

Supervising Character TD:
Responsible for the technical requirements of the character assets; design, develop and manage rigs and tools for bi‐pedal and quadruped characters; resolving any rigging and enveloping issues that may arise; developing and maintaining proprietary tools, plug ins and scripts;creating Python scripts for automation; and assist in the development of the production pipeline.

Qualifications

* 4+ years professional experience in CG animation, preferably in a long format production.
* Working knowledge of geometry creation, weighting and skeleton rigging.
* Working knowledge of character rigging methodologies and good understanding of automating processes for animation rigging.
* Anatomical knowledge and good artistic skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Maya.
* Production knowledge of UNIX/Linux, procedural and object‐oriented programming languages, Maya, Python and MEL

Senior Technical Director:
Focusing on the design and development of production pipeline and workflow procedures, responsibilities will also include training and working with pipeline engineers to develop new production systems. Ideal candidate will also be proficient with technical issues in a Maya environment, including particles, cloth, fluids and hair.

Qualifications

* 4+ years of CG experience in series or feature film, stereoscopic experience a strong plus
* Experience with C/C++, UNIX/Linux
* Strong knowledge of Python, MEL scripting, render processes for Mental Ray or Renderman
* Experience with revisions control systems
* Experience designing guis

Offline Editor:
Experienced offline editor to create animatics from storyboards; work with Supervising Directors to create timed storylines and create offline assemblies to final picture for post production houses using Final Cut Pro.

Qualifications

* 4+ years as an offline editor, preferably with diverse animation experience.
* Experience with ProTools, Soundtrack, Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, Harmony, Maya preferred.
* Strong technical knowledge of diverse file formats and post production protocols.
* Excellent communication skills to convey storylines and vision.
* Ability to work with team members from diverse disciplines and cultures
