Default Regular folders converted to EXE files?

I don't think this is a virus related concern kay I've tried two antivirus programs to address this but to no avail (I used Avast and Ad-Aware). Recently lang, I bought a used Core2Duo desktop with a Windows 7 Enterprise nga OS. I asked the previous owner to reformat the said desktop so as if it's a new one. Wa man koy problema except nga when I plug in any USB flash drives and memory cards, i-convert ang mga folders niini to dot EXE files pero I could still access the files inside in the absence of an antivirus pero kung naa gani, i-block niya.

Now that I don't have an antivirus program, I can freely access the folders except nga i-convert sa system ang mga folders to dot EXE files. Again, I don't think this is a virus kay ang mga folders sa hard drive kay okay man.

Got any idea ngano ug unsaon ni?

Actually, g.hide ra na ang folders. Ang .EXE files kai "shortcuts" na cya sa original folder. Virus na cya. Clean your usb first.
