Default Monthly Paid - How to Compute?

If an employee is monthly paid and his rate is 30T. Payroll paid twice a month (15, 30). Then in a particular payroll period he has worked only once (1 day). How do you compute his payroll? Is there any standard formula to follow? What does the labor law said about this situation?

different companies follow different computations. some of the common are:

    A. P30,000 for 40 hrs/week
    30,000 x 12 (months) = 360,000 (annual)
    360,000 / 260 (days) = 1,384.62 (daily) **other companies use 265 days
    1,384.62 / 8 (hours) = 173.08 (hourly)

    B.
    30,000 / 26 (days) = 1,153.85 (daily) **other companies use 24 or 22 days
    1,153.85 / 8 (hours) = 173.08

better ask your hr which computation they use so you'll know for sure. also include your tax and other deductions. you can also use this: Calculator for Withholding Tax, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth, Overtime Pay, Night Differential, Net Pay -- Wraithstrider's Salary Calculator
and this: Philippines Tax ComputationWithholding Tax Computation
