Many Filipinos not only here in Cebu but all over the nation attend mass at shopping malls. They do that for reasons like convenience - being able to go malling immediately after worship. There are some families who lived in residential areas that do not have churches or chapels around.

Shopping malls also coordinate with churches nearby to organize mass in their commercial establishments. Effectively, mass-in-malls add to capitalism.

I was basing my answer on TS as he mentioned filipinos on cebu so automatic cebu ako gipasabot.
