Engine Tuning - Plug n Play

Would like to ask some information sa mga motorist/hobbyist from here that have tried or have some ideas about engine tuning using some devices(tuning box) It is plug n play, a device that when you connect to your engine sensors, it would work directly without configuring or remapping the ECU(car computer). When you feel that you don't like or need it or for some warranty purposes, just remove or put some adapter to be able to configure as using your stock engine parameters or just simple remove and put back all the sensor connectors in normal.

With this device, your engine will be efficiently tuned, gives more power @ around 20% increase, save fuel and many others.

Sa mga nakatry or has some ideas from friends using it, pro's and con's is worth discussing here

This device is applicable to new cars which is using ECU and it is engine specific, which means a device is pre-programmed for your engine type, and its parameters. Some cars although different model, sometimes use the same engine like for example VW, Audi and others.

There is no such thing as universal model, for car engines were of many types and technology used.

quicker response
more torque
less FC if driven conservatively

cons:
you'll be tempted to use all the extra power hence more FC.

It's a 2.2 CRDI engine with no other components installed other than the chip.
No fuel additives as well but changed my Air Filter with K&N drop in filter.

I got my box around 6k 2 years ago.

same with Sir e_mer8. italian box pud ang ako and quite good so far. dali kaayo pahunaton. the best is actually remapping of the ECU but it takes more effort and technical knowledge + the tools to do it. I already have some of the tools but I'm still on the learning curve kay kinahanglan dyud ug tun-an ug maayo.

since it is already computerized and powered by ICs/chipsets, i was thinking that a universal model "might" be possible; by diagnosing first the engine electronically and digitally then shall apply the corresponding tuning. unlike the pre-made/configured for specific models which is plugnplay...
