Well, we dont see you as competitor and is not competing against you in any way, we are merely doing things what we want to do. If you see it as a battle then its your call I wont buy the battle and most absolutely we are not afraid. I just dont see this thing necessary. What we both do is for the benefit of Cebu and bring out what is Cebu, thats how I see it.

I would say the best that we could do is help ourselves, each other and or compliment each other and do the vision of what our websites is suppose to do and not act like immatures waging war againts each other.

And besides, I dont see the post as crass since it is posted in the proper category. If you would browse through this Forum category (Website and Multimedia), this type of post is not uncommon.

btw.. is the "EXCHANGE RATES" live feeded from Reuters? i havent seen or encountered a dynamic CGI that accomodates live feeds(or maybe im just too unfamiliar with feeds). i needed one anyway.. i mean a live forex feed.

hi astang! honestly i think it's great you guys came along. a big city like cebu needs more than one web portal. i respect your work, and i do look forward to competing with you. it means we will both work harder, and everybody benefits as a result. that's how modern economies work! coke vs pepsi, gma vs abs-cbn, wayblima vs cebucentral... hehehe!

now, regarding my comment bout posting here being crass, the thing is that istorya.net is also a portal of sorts. it's the only real online community for cebu. since you and i are also in that segment (developing online communities) i thought it was a little ... questionable. of course, what you did is not half as bad as that ***** who keeps PM people to get users for his forum which looks exactly like istorya.net except all the numbers are showing "0"!

guilliam, that thread about inq7.net vs mb.com.ph, i think that's a great idea and i'd be the first to vote (for mb.com.ph) if someone starts it. go figure! what is silly for some is fun for others. in fact, you just gave me an idea for a new segment at my site: corporate polls! come to think of it, i also noticed a globe vs. pldt thread somewhere else in this section... had a lot of activity!

bout the exchange rate feed, yeah, you can't find that on the net, that is original, as is all other programs and content at wayblima.com. one thing though, it's not live - it's updated once an hour during office hours.
