MSI introduces stylish Wind Box DC100 with dual-core performance by VR-Zone.com

MSI has unveiled the updated Wind Box DC100, which made its first appearance in CeBit 2009. The small form factor PC is now equipped with the latest AMD Brazos platform E-450 dual-core processor and A50M chipset for superior performance, compared to the Intel Atom processor incorporated two years ago.



The MSI Wind Box series is designed with superb performance and energy saving capabilities in a small footprint. The newly launched Wind Box DC100 is equipped with the latest AMD Brazos platform E-450 dual-core processor and A50M chipset to offer great computing performance. The average power consumption is only 40W, compared to 60W for previous generation products, providing power savings for users.

The small form factor PC features AMD Radeon HD 6320 discrete class graphics that support output resolutions of up to 1080p, and supports DirectX 11 image processing technology for high-definition video playback. The Wind Box DC100 features VGA and HDMI output Incorporating MSI's proprietary software, Smart Media Link and Smart Sync, you can synchronize your files with an easy-to-use user interface, as well as play multimedia files you have selected simultaneously on different devices such as tablets, smartphones and HDTV in the same LAN or Wi-Fi network. The Wind Box DC100 is also a quiet performer with under 22dB noise when in standby mode.
