BOSS MT-2 guitar pedal

Hello friends, I'm new when it comes to guitar effects and such. My rig is an Ibanez GRG 220 and my amp is a Marshall DFX15.

I'm trying to look for the BOSS MT-2 guitar pedal. I'm currently playing stuff from Urbandub, Franco and Powerspoonz.

I asked John Dinopol (guitarist of Urbandub) what the gain sound of Urbandub was on twitter. He replied that Gabby Alipe used the DS-2 and he used the MT-2 until 2007. They're probably using multi-effects now.

I also asked the personal opinion of my friends. They said that the MT-2 was more versatile, playing anything from blues, crunch, grunge, rock and metal. Anyone who can also dispel the rumor that the DS-1/DS-2 is just noisy and is inferior when compared to the MT-2?

I've got a budget ranging from about 4k depending on the cosmetics and if it's used or if it's brand new.
