    Mo kuha ko og WiMax with landline..

    Ask lang ko ug mga suggestions and comments ninyu mga guys kung OK bah ang connections sa WiMax bundle with Landline sa Lahug..

    Ang amo ky doul sa Handuraw kanang atbang sa Citibank savings loan center..

    Please need your opinions..

    The answer is No.

    We live near Waterfront. There are several cell sites of globe within Line-Of-Sight. The signal is wonderful. The speed is quite fast, but its 1Mbps max.

    That's where the good news ends. This connection is unlike DSL. It is capped. So if you download anything bigger than a JPG picture of Angel Locsin, it will eventually be reduced to 300Kbps without warning... FOR A MONTH!

    It is stupid they do this for a fixed-installation residential Wimax. Just plain stupid.

    Oh and the phone isn't working. Has dial tone. Will dial. But any number is BUSY. It cannot be called to as well. It has been like that for about 3 weeks.

    Frankly, this roll-out is shit. They did not plan it well. Wimax is supposed to be a stable, mature enough
    4G standard. But in the hands of Globe, they made a complete mess of it.

    Go wired. And if you can, go PLDT.
