Unfamiliar setting/cultural backdrop or not, the real point in actually including it in the list, is being in a situation where you don't know whether you'll get out of it still in one piece, alive and kicking. So whether you're a foreigner or a native Pinoy who also tries out this ride, it would still be an undeniably nerve-wracking and/or thrilling experience, regardless of where you're coming from.

a president of a new zealand company came here for a visit. at first he said, commenting on our traffic and specially about the motorcyles riders, i think you filipinos have some kind of gestures or body signals so u understand each other on these chaotic roads.

later on at night, it was dark and rainy, he simply threw up his hands..saying.. i dont know. there are no gestures...you filipinos are the best drivers!
