well a round face suits both short and long hair but not shorter than your jaw. it comes to finding hairstyles that makes your face look longer and oval. A middle part and a asymmetrical cut creates such an effect.
You should not pick a hairstyle with much width and a straight fringe should be avoided, it will make the face look shorter but a sideswept fringe is ok.
the haircut should also preferably be short at the ears. Bob is rarely successful.
cutting the hair into long layers is a great option, it frames the face.
Just some ideas, but the best idea is probably to ask the hairdresser who knows the best.
