i don't think buying of ecs laptop is a good choice knowing that this kind of laptop model/brand is not so familiar in the market. naturally, they will also make models that can counteract with other competing companies like ibm, dell or hp-compaq and etc. the question is, do there units last long? do they give customers 3 years warranty period like ibm? do they have service centers that are accessible to their customers? my suggestion is that, you should buy laptops/notebooks that all of these questions can be aswered...
sakto si cooldude. ask ang store if naa ba support ang kana nga brand. lisod na uwahi raba gyud ang pag basol. if u have the money better buy IBM laptops.
@legal_cd - better read reviews on laptops that you like. intel laptops are also good.
ECS are good laptop... basta naa lng warranty go for it.... dugay na ang ECS sa motherboard market so it is still realiable brand...
There's a 3 Year Warranty for that. You can ask your dealers.
