This number called me today, claiming she's from bpi and saying I've prequalified for a BPI credit card.

I'm always skeptical when somebody from somewhere calls me for this and that.

Anybody had the same experience?

maybe ts.. coz ang (02) number is area code sa manila... then when it comes sa verification or blah-blah-blah sa credit cards company if nindot ang records nimu qualified jud ka bisag wala ka moapply ana...

Murag mga ahente na sa credit card, ingnan ka na qualified ka mu apply para mu apply ka, nya pa sendon ka requirements dayon.. nag gukod lng na sila ug quota

Nanawag siya sa akong cellphone.. Nag ask ko niya diin niya na kuha ang ako number. Ni-ingon ra pud nga gikan sa BPI ra pud daw nga agent bato or bank,. CAn't remember the exact answer.

I told her nga dili ko interested magkuha ug Credit Card kay naa ko debit card. Also I told her nga modiretso nalang ko sa bank if ganahan gyud ko mokuha ug CC.

She said, "With that sir, yung waived na lifetime annual fee something something(can't remember exactly) is hindi mo na maavail, you will be given the regular annual fee."

So I guess the only advantage is if mo avail ko in which I didn't is I wouldn't have to go to tha bank and that they will send the CC to me. Also I don't need to apply and the annual fee I think is waived forever.

I just want to know lang if somebody here, had availed this or unsa ba kaha. How legit and how true this one is.

Wala naman gud nako gitubayan kay lisod na mohatag ta sa atong mga personal nga info through the phone without even knowing who that person is. Safety first lang tingale or unsa ba..
