As emphasized by another article lucid hydra is good only for benchmarks as of now. For gaming, give it a couple of years more.
yes. from the articles i've read, hybrid hyra has poor scaling. Hydra is useful for those platforms that are purely nvidia, or ati. This enables them to use the other. Hybrid is still immature technology but sure has a lot of potential![]()
I've always wanted this technology since before.. I tend to have video cards from the two companies ATI & nVidia and if this goes mainstream this will save me money by using one motherboard while being able to use two different vendors of GPU at the same time.
but if that Lucid Hydra thingy will be embedded on all new GPU's someday it would be even better as what P0w3rM0v3 have posted.![]()
