It's that time of the year again. No, Christmas is still four months away. We're talking about THEIR BOOKS, the Tsinelas fundraiser. Now on its third year, we are now accepting book donations to be sold at Ayala Center Cebu on Sept. 24, 25 & 26.
There are two ways to help: you can donate books or buy books during our book sale. Proceeds will go to various Tsinelas programs that promote literacy to children. Help us in promoting our cause by spreading the word. Many thanks!
For Cebu-based donors, please drop your books at Sun.Star Daily - P. del Rosario St. Label your book/s with TSINELAS THEIR BOOKS and address to Insoy Niñal of Sun.Star Daily. You can also contact us at 09274864146.

We request our donors to donate fiction or non-fiction novels, paperbacks, self-help books, biographies, etc. Children's books and reference materials will not be put on sale but go directly to our beneficiaries and reading centers.
Please place your name on the inside page of the book so we'd know where they come from.
Thank you very much!
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
“THEIR BOOKS” is an award-winning fund-raising project of Tsinelas participated in by writers, columnists, editors, musicians, painters, media practitioners, teachers, the academe, politicians and other prominent personalities in Cebu. These people are asked to donate books from their personal collections. The books are then put on sale for the public. Hence, the name “Their Books.”
While Their Books started with books donated by personalities in Cebu, it also welcomes donations from ordinary book lovers.
The first Their Books was held in November 2008 at the Ayala Center Cebu, the second was in September 2009 in the same venue.
Their Books is an official part of the annual celebration of Cebu Press Freedom Week.
In 2009, Their Books won for Tsinelas a TAYO (Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations) award for the Visayas, a second TAYO award for the organization (the first being won by Tsinelas UP-Chapter for a separate project in 2006). Their Books represented the Visayas in the TAYO National Finals in the same year.
Proceeds of Their Books are used to fund the projects and programs of Tsinelas.
