Default When the employee commits a mistake

Once an employee commits mistake in his job, it is not right to just fire him/her immediately. It would be great to talk to them and hear their sides. Employers should let them explain and of course it is just fair to give everyone SECOND CHANCE. To be fair with you and the company, the employee should be informed that if he/she will commit the same mistake again then the company has no choice but to fire him. Doing this will make you a fair and an understanding employer and boss.

And this is what my former boss had said while talking to the senior management over the phone:

"Hiring new people is NOT the solution. Give them a chance to learn from their mistakes."

For me, however, the only terminable offense/mistake is FRAUD or METRIC MANIPULATION which happens in the BPO/call center industry. In that case, there is NO second chance.
