    Lightbulb Question: Do hardware adapters affect port performance

    Almost all of our hardware devices have adapters like the following:

    USB -> PS2
    DVI -> VGA
    DVI -> HDMI
    IDE -> SATA
    and so on...

    Does attaching adapters to our ports/jacks affect the performance of a peripheral?

    maybe at some points lyk ang pag.travel sa data it takes a little bit of delay compared to the usual set.up..

    yes, but i think its negligible.. part of its design is always to insure data flow & rate.

    I think lang ha naay losses jud coz sa ako gani na KWORLD External TV Tunner when ako i paslak ang VGA cable na rounded ug end from the TV Tunner external sa VGA card from CPU kay murag blur iyang images ang text. Ako man jud gi sunod ang manual sa TV TUNNER pero mao lage gihapon naay losses sa signal niya bati ug kuha mao manuallly ako kuha kuhaon ang VGA cable from my LCD monitor transfer sa External TV Tunner hasol pud.

    yes it does affect pero on limited parts ra and good enough to be unnoticed. DVI-VGA naa juy loss if gusto ka try nimo in higher resolutions.

    USB -> PS2 = usahay nay incomapatibility. my PC won't detect my USB mouse if I use the PS2 adapter
    DVI -> VGA = from digital to analog, conversion loss sa image quality
    DVI -> HDMI = no audio feature (DVI)
    IDE -> SATA = disabled plug-n-play capability

    depende pod dayon sa cable quality
