hello sa tanan mga master, newbie lang intawon ko mao naa koy pangutana. i have seen some photos unya e black and white nila pero certain area naa siyay color. example a photo of a girl then black and white siya pero ang iyang lips naay color red. unsay term ani sa photography? ug unsaon ni siya pag create? possible kaha pud ni siya sa nikon nx? salamat daan sa inyong tubag and enlightnmnt.

^answeran lang nku ang unsaon pag create... you can use "history brush tool" using Photoshop.

GIMP - Selective Colorization

selective colorization ang term gigamit ana. GIMP ang gigamit, same rani sa photoshop, but open-source ni cya.

dali ra kaayo nang "history brush tool".... for example, you change ur picture into a blackANDwhite effect, then click the history brush tool, then click lang tong part sa picture nga imong gusto ibalik sa normal color (colored one)... mas maayo kung imong suwayan.. and practice makes perfect.

Dili ko master pero sa Photoshop: make use of layers

View the window for layers aron dili ka malibog.

try duplicating the original layer of the photo. and then changing the top layer into black and white or desaturate it. and then using the soft-edged eraser to erase the top layer.

for example black and white layer ang imong top layer, inig erase nimo, ang layer below maoy makita so colored ang area nga imong gi erase.

^^ask lang ko mam if familiar ba ka sa photoshop or what level imo expertise sa photoshop though im not belittling u about it. ako mismo im no photoshop expert (and proud of it hehehe)
para pud people here know how to answer or give u tips more effectively or kanang well accorded ra pud sa imong technical knowledge sa editing.
kay naa baya pud too complex mu explain.
