mga bro kinsa naka try na og replace sa router+modem sa ISP with PCI DSL Modem?
so ang gamiton with ur replacement PC na nga naay PCI DSL modem..

i dont know if naa bah PCI DSL Modem.. ako mangud plan kay ani

default design by ISP:

Internet<--->router modem with 4 ports<---->PC in LAN

My Design:

Internet<--->Firewall Router=PC With PCI DSL Modem<---->Switch<----->PC in LAN

Why changing to internal model? mura diay ug Dial Up style.

Ang blema man gud anang Internal mode if kanang PC nga nag dala sa DSL, ma off or ma guba, hasol napud kaayo.

And what if kanang PC dili gamiton? so you need to keep that pc running para lang maka host sa DSL Modem.

Mas maayo siguro if external modem nalang ka bro.

You can still filter those junk site with third party software, naa daghan sa internet bro. Or you can filter it manually to each PC.

Ma usa ang Router and Modem? Both PLDT and Globe is a Modem/Router na, switch nalang kuwang nimo ana. Except for SmartBro kay need paka mag router and switch.
