i personally recommend buffalo whr-hp-g54.. but its really hard to find.. costs practically the same with linksys but highpowered and linux based firmware!!! linksys wrt54gl will be a good choice too.. stable and linux based fw.. i use wrt54gl ... linksys wrt54g(not wrt54g2) series is also good, look for the version.. stay away from v7...

yeah, problem with wireless n is.. if you got 1 laptop or wireless computer that has only g adapter..
your n router will be transmitting only g... not n..

n is still in the draft stage.. i believe it'll be a standard later this year..

It will still transmit an N speed though but the G adapter is only capable of receiving G speed, so G speed can only be achive in the G adapter since it is backward compatible.

    i dont think so...
    Situation:

If I have 5 wireless computers, 4 are using N adapters 1 is using G adapter. The 4 wireless computers that has N adapter is getting 300Mbps wireless speed while the G adapter is getting 54Mbps wireless speed.

Now how do you explain this, does the router is sending N wireless speed at the same time sending G speed?

Would you like to explain it to me bro since Im a NOOB of networking.
