There was a feature on this on "The Buzz" with a woman from Manila claiming that she came up with the Itsumo Japanese Chorus with the same lyrics...

Fact:

1. Itsumo's track was sampled from a classic Japanese song by Sashi Yuichiro; meaning that the lyrics and tune of the chorus was sampled from this song. :idea:

2. Their song was classified as "Abstract Hiphop"... there is no Abstract Hiphop genre.

3. The track has been receiving too much praise, that people are unaware of their fear to comment about it, as they might be "criticisized" for not conforming to the "conventions" of the general public. :P

4. To Aphrodite: :8O: Before you lock a topic, inform the members of the reason, and I cannot accept a statement that goes "this topic is locked! you guys aint havin fun here.. this should be stop. thank you."

:idea: Istorya is a forum where you supposedly can discuss any topic that's "interesting" or not. and not merely a forum to "have Fun" in. so I am opening another topic with a different angle, one, I hope, with your broad-mindedness, will be more acceptable.

I would suggest you lock other topics where you get nonsense posts.. Istorya’s reputation rests on this fact, and Moderators like you should do something about it. :idea:

just saw the episode this afternoon...hi-c's camp were constantly denying the intrigue bought by the woman from manila who claimed that she was the one who composed and arranged the song then posted it on the net..she also made an accusation that the one played on-air is her voice and that hi-c is doing only a lip sing...well i dunno bout the true fact on this issue but one thing i can attest to myself is that dice&k9 made a good rendition of this song & they made it on top of the charts...for me its not about who composes/arrange this song..or whatever...its all about the people who gave it a charisma to the masses and made it all happened to be a chart topper...dice&k9 diffinitely have the potential as a hiphop artist coz they does it all..period.

if the claiming is telling the truth, how bout a showdown then , a live performance between the two girls would probably help in clearing the matter up.

Also why the heck would she post here song in the internet, she should have known the risk of doing what she did.

If artist can't give credit to people who helped them they dont deserve the props themselves...

Dice & K9 is doing good here in Manila... Most artist here in Manila is down with them. You guys are playin God, but you know nothing at all. Sashi Yuichiro is Hi-C.... Hi-c made the name... meaning Sashi is just a fictional character. You have to know them personally before you say something about them.

The girl said she met them in a chatroom, thats funny coz these guys dont chat & FYI if you download asound file from the internet its lowfi. Record companies dont accept lowfi recording quality.
And here's a leak... The girl's boyfriend is a member of the rap group from other camp trying to ruin them. Evidence has been gathered including raw files & data, the copyright of the song & the lyric sheet with dates and witnesses including the owner of the studio, the sound engineer + other artists who witnessed the recording. Oh my God, haven't you heard how the claimant sang? She was horrible, she hasn't even pronounced it well... even the title of the song.

They are now under a professional record label & hanging with professional artist... It takes 1 to know 1.
& you know what... They gathered 3 awards for just a month.

This just shows that filipino's are bunch of crab.

There's a rumor that Dice & k9 has been invited to play in JAPAN.... There's this company from Japan asking them to make another Japanese song...


ABSTRACT HIP-HOP (Experimental) is how they call their sound/music... there's a lot of Abstract Hip-Hop in the States... 1 good example is Missy Elliot's sound... & besides, who are you to tell people that ther's no such thing? are you the artist who made such sound... Make your own & call it whatever you like... Back in the days there's no TECHNO.
