I'm planning to buy a 12" screen laptop. I was thinking of getting a NEO but too many users have negative feedbacks about it. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Budget: PhP 40,000.

what r u planning to use it for? basic office programs lang? daghan man barato rn..

Not really for hardcore gaming that requires heavy video and memory specs... Basic office programs, web browsing, media, etc.

i own a NEO personally... the empriva series... whatever negative feedbacks they have it would still depend on the usage of the unit... i'm happy with it... I'm not in to heavy gaming i have my psp for that but it can handle CS 1.6 and DOTA... it has WXGA screen good for watching movies... but in any laptop guro naa mangyud CONS... battery life because the last year empriva series only have 4cell batteries as default it would only last you 1hr 5mins with wifi... but you can get a extended battery for the model 8cell in NEO showroom sa SM...

saw a compaq with 12inch lcd screen at sm but my friend told me to keep away from compaq.

Try using the Fujitsu if your budget permits or the Dell XPS.
