I posted this in the events forum with no response. "Hi, This is Jesse from JRI and Owner of J.C.'s Acoustic Lounge in Mandaue City. I am considering adding a songwriter's night here at J.C.s to give songwriters a place to perform their own materials. I am a songwriter myself and understand the need to have your music heard. If enough artists are interested, we can possible add a songwriter's night here one night during the week. I understand a lot of people go to the Outpost, but we may be much closer for some and your friends and family can come watch you perform here. I want to clarify that you do not have to be a professional. Some of the best songs are written by amateur writers. Don't be afraid to showcase your material. This could be your starting point. Come by or send me a message and lets talk and make some music!!

Really? No response at all? Cebu music is only heavy metal bands and bad sung videoke? Nothing in between? I am quite disappointed. In the States, There are many, many musicians who would love an opportunity like this.

Correction - Due to Songwriters Night at Outpost being on Wednesdays we will change ours to THursdays!! Thanks!! To get here, jeep 01K and most jeeps going to Lapu Lapu pass by here. Drop off at CDU campus and come into the Carenderia area. Big lighted signage out front!!
