    Default Legal terms

emancipation- a legal mechanism by which a minor
is freed from control by their parents or guardians, and the parents or
guardians are freed from any and all responsibility toward the child...

legal age is 18 yers old. 21y/o pwedi naka maka sign any document papers w/o the consent of ur parents...

now my question is. what if a 17 yer old girl, married, pregnant now she is in labor. she is still minor. can she sign the consent letter? but she is still under the supervision of her parents even though she is married...

so wen can this emancipation works over this matter?

Under the Family Code, only individuals at least 18 years of age could contract marriage. Marriages contracted by individuals below 18 years of age are void. You can check the Family Code of the Philippines for exact legal provision.

a 17 yr old girl can never b legally married coz under d law d marital age requirement is 18 and is an essential requisite for marriage...marriages with either or both parties not complying with d age requirement is considered void...

according sa akong maestro sa ethics kanang term nga emancipated minor gigamit na sauna nga ang ila legal age 21 samtin nya samtym between 17-21 naminyo ang minor he/she now becomes emancipated... pero ala na daw na sa new family code kay 18 yrs na man jud ang age of maturity...

i think she can still be married though with the consent of the parents pero defective ila contract and it could be annulled in the future if wala cla buhaton by the time moabot cla sa legal age..
