Default Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme Thread

Hi guys. i just want to make a thread about the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme coz i want to know more about the true120. The temps on idle and on load. Some tips and tricks. and Mods. ^_^

Here's a review for the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme from AnandTech

If you can, please also post your idle and load temps using CPUID HWmonitor. and also your processor and speed. You can also post pics of your rig using true120.

    Here's mine atm (just installed):
    Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 1.10v (Lapped. i also lapped my true120)
Idle temp: 34c (average temp on all cores)
Load temp: 45c (average temp on all cores)

I temps will go down about 2-5c since i just installed it. just my theory though.

what bout you guys, can you also post your temps using true120 please. ^_^

i still need to mod my casing to improve airflow. gonna put a 12cm fan on the side near the GPU. and another front intake. hope it will help with the cooling. ^_^

you should not compare your quad with emoners' wolfdale... thats 45nm processor.
