as far sa akong experiences with newer phones, dali ra au ma lowbatt.. if malowbatt pud kay no chances of coming alive pajud if in cases of emergency.. nahitabo jud ni nako before unlike older phones mapuga pajud ang batt bahala lowbatt na.. how about u?

unsa nga phones imo pasabot sir? depende man pud na sa usage..

if your referring to 3310 as "older phones".. mas mo-prefer pako sa new phones karon kay LITHIUM based na ang batteries, di pareha sa 3310 nga NICKEL.. wherein you have to completely charge and discharge the battery to avoid "memory effect" which can shorten the life span of your battery..

well d man sad nga bati nag quality ang newer phones kay sa old ones..

your talking about the battery side.. and why dali ra malowbat ang bag.o nga models over sa karaan nga models e.g. 3350, 3310..

EVER CONSIDERED THE INCREASING and SOPHISTICATED FEATURES bundled on the newer ones now over the old ones.. e.g. WIFI, GPS, ACCELEROMETER,RADIO, MEDIA PLAYER.. etc..

Can you find those on your 3310? RIGHT.. you Can't.. try to imagine, putting a 3310 battery on a x6, n97,or even just a 5800.. let's see if it will last for a day...

Q: Are new phones worth buying?
A: The answer will only be a NO if the current phone you are using is still supporting all your needs. All other reasons will dictate YES and go for newer and more all-in-one device.

OLD Phone: 3310
New Phone: 1661

that's stanby time of up to 275hrs for 3310 and up to 475hrs for the 1661, which has radio and flashlight to add to its feautures.

Notice that I am comparing 3310 to the 1661 so as not to overemphasize the gap like comparing 3310 vs Nokia N or E series. Just to show that even in the most basic Nokia or any brand handset, these low end units have significant improvement over the older models.
