Default Making a Computer Store Business

Do you guys have any tips, advice and suggestions?

I might be making one here in cebu..

I think number 1 priority in stores is Customer Services?
3 day order basis ? or too long?
1 year warranty enough ? or 6 months too short?

What do you guys mostly buy? Cases? Motherboard? Memory?
I notice only a few stores in cebu sell coolers

    Name suggestions ? etc.

    Thanks

Number one priority is hire salesperson that actually knows about technology

*Here is a normal pc store scenario*
"Boy enters and asks whats a good video card, saleslady says an 1GB 8400GS and paspas kuno kaayo na kay 1GB na gud"

    >_>

lol thats actually true, but you do know most stores have this kind of saleperson.. Actually a good thing since they are the 'SALESPERON' they are going try and sell the product at anyway they can.. What if he ends up talking to a person that doesn't know much, is it a jackpot ?

It ends up the salesperson being more smarter lol :P We don't know that salesperson is just fooling the boy! lol

Good looking salesperson + convenient location + good products = satisfied customers

enthusiast... problem ani is limited imong market. should u do parts selling, broaden imo market, from high end to low end. importante, u know what cebu's looking... what does cebu needs? enthusiast and mid level parts... say, here, la kaayo CF or SLI boards... and, why dont u do 2nd -hand selling? mao ni ang trend sa mid level buyers, they may be buying pero they wanted ang technology nga "enthusiast" sauna...

market research una...tanawa pag-ayo imong target market...didto sa Manila, u can see that stores that specialize high end parts like WaycoolModz/TantricMods etc. nabuhi gyud kai galante kaayo mogasto mga pc enthusiasts didto...diri Cebu medyo tight kaayo ta for that...remember naa baya ka overhead sa pagpamaligya...esp. kung ang imong kuhaon nga personnel kanang computer literate gyud...reality check lang ni ako-a...

an example is the buy and sell section. ubos na gani ang mga price sa nagbaligya ug mga mid-end to high-end products pero wa jud, lisod jud halinon. it goes to show nga the high-end computer enthusiasts market isn't present yet in cebu.
