I don't know if naa na ni na thread or sakto ba ni na category, i can't use the search feature to search for this topic kay nag problema ko sa search.. Nywayz..

I've been on many PhpBB forums and here's some features I would like to suggest:

-Auto-merge double post.. para dili hugaw ang thread.. diba naa ni?

-Quick-reply. I don't know the name of the feature pero, it's like this, when you do a quick-reply mu-appear dayon siya after clicking.. dli na mu-reload ang page... hope naka gets mu sa description..

-a WYSIWYG post editor.. para dli namag cgeg preview..

-Thread ratings.. Referrals.. kbaw ko gamay ra mogamit ani nga feature pero usahay useful gyud siya

-hmm.. nawala ang member list.

-RSS Feed..? Anyway kanang mga important gyud nga news.

Hoping I'd hear from the admin.. Just wanna make this site a whole lot better.. 'coz I really enjoy it here..

-P.S. Anyway, OT.. naay friendster account ang istorya.net? or you wouldn't allow it for privacy issues, etc..

yeah, there is quick reply.. pero there is an enhancement sort of.. diba kung mag quick reply ta.. inig press natog enter or reply, mohawa man siya sa page ug iyang i-reload ang previous page. Ang akong nakit-an sa uban forums ky after ka mupress ug enter about 1 second dli mu reload ang page, ur still on the same page pero muadd lang cya diretso.. gets..? lisod siya sabton anyway.. (sulaya sa aqua-soft ganahan ko sa ilang style sa quick-reply).. Thanks bro!!

I'm pretty sure there is a setting somewhere in there that prevents identical posts within a certain time period ... or a mod at least. BeoR should really check on this.

This is Ajax. If you want to code the template, feel free.

Read. Re-read. Then post. We don't need a WYSIWYG editor for people to gnrobouwgBUOGEWOP with. If you mean on the fly preview ... this can be done using Javascript or Ajax. As I said, if you can code it, feel free.

Ratings can be systematically doctored. Use Views and Posts. That should be enough of an indication of what is popular. Anything else important is stickied.

Thanks for the prompt reply. As of this moment, I am with a friend who's gonna teach me a little template coding, Javascript and Ajax. If I'm ever successful I might share it.

Member list looks like a formality because almost every other forum has it, pero for most wla gyuy gamit, but if one is looking for a member, it might come in handy. I was looking for a member months back and it seems wla na man cya dre pero I was hoping naay other data that might lead to contact details, I even forgot his username basta dungan dungan ra mi nagregister and I can remember sa una ma sort out nimo ang list by the date they were registered. That was pretty nifty. Pero anyway, I got contact details of him. So it probably doesn't matter now.

Actually, by the RSS I meant the forum itself. The threads, and not the main page. But I had subscribed to the main page anyway, I had thought apil ang forums. Pero it's a nice feature BTW. It might come in handy.

There are RSS feeds for certain threads. You just need to manipulate the URL to extract it. I do not have a link to a guide on hand. Will post later.
