depends on the mobo if it supports 805, just because its a lga 775 doesn't mean it supports the 805..

pentium d 805 is best suited with a mobo with a intel i945PL chipset.

:mrgreen: dats what I wanted to know. If all lga775 mobos will readily accept a PD805. like any socket 939 modawat ug amd dual core.
My sis has this 1 yr old LGA775 with P4 506 nga 2.66ghz na wala na gigamit because she bought an i-mac g5, i'm thinking of confiscating it ang putting a osx86 hehe or xp na lang if dili mo work

975 & 955 supports 805 too.
