Hi ya bro!
Nice Model railroad Structures you have there. i'm sure Model railroader would love to feature you and your structuresAre they scratchbuilt?
1:48? I'm not familiar with this scale on Model railroading
I used to Model Railroad in HO scale 1:87All of my Railroad stuff are in Pampanga though because I'm actually from Luzon. Working here in Cebu

Hi Gian
Thanks...
yes, they are all 100% scratchbuilt..its in O Scale. I also have som HO scale dioramas...will try to post some pics later. right now, im enjoying O scale since its bigger and more detailed.
Wow..."O" scaleThat's big.
So do you have a permanent working layout here in Cebu? Do an article on your structures and submit it to Model Railroader Magazine. They'll gawk at your prowess of model railroad structure scratchbuilding
I never had a permanent layout. All i do is assemble my HO railroad in a big circle with twists and turns around our Christmas tree during the holidays![]()
No, i dont have a layout....mainly because no one sells O scale trains here...and buying on the internet is is expensive..although im planning to scratchbuild my own locomotive. i do have a blog about my structures, and some "how-to" info and lots of pics....check them here.
O Scale Dioramas
Nice articles bro! Love the "Old Style" pic
You mentioned that you used a printer. What kind of printer do you use? I've been looking for a nice printer lately for my 3d Papermodels hobby.
And where did you get the "foliage" that you're using on the ground to simulate grass, brush etc...
@gian: i dont remember mentioning a "printer". and as for all the grass and landscaping, i made them myself. thanks
Oh...you didn't use a printer? Hmmm...i must have jumbled up the articles...in one article, it was mentioned that the author used CAD to make the structure so I assumed that the plans were made via CAD and then printed and cut to pieces...oh well...I better read the articles again later
Wow...scratchbuilt grass...what materials did you use for the crass and foliage?
Btw, I'm planning to make a desert diorama for a 1:18 project...what would you suggest for desert sand?
yes, the plans were drawn on CAD program, and CUT on a laser cutter, not printed.
you can use fine sand, the boracay type of fine sand. grass and foliage are foam.
maybe we should convert this thread to "HOW TO MAKE A DIORAMA", covering all aspects such as landscaping, plants, ground cover, etc...that would be nice...
