    Question GTR Power Supply REviews

A friend of mine is sending me a package...I asked him for a Power supply... Apparently, the one he sent me was a GTR Power Supply 450 watts (I haven't received the package yet)...

My question is, has anyone heard about this power supply? Is this reliable? I've searched the internet and i've found not much except for old reviews. I've found their website but it seems to be down (GTR Singapore Pte Ltd)

    Any opinions on this one?

got the same PSU from arctech as well. it blew up after a couple of months... must have been either a bad batch or my old mobo (intel d915gav) was at fault coz it also killed a HEC psu after a week I replaced the GTR. it also killed a generic psu 6 to 8 mos before the GTR got fried. oh and i didnt overclock anything... just left my pc running 24/7

Ahh..okay, tnx sa mga opinion ninyo guys...

I got the package, i think what he sent me was his old PSU... apparently, there's no chord for PCI-E.. Oh well, guess this'll have to do for now..

I think i've found their site...and these are the specs (the middle PSU).

Guys, tabang gamay... I've installed the PSU... pero murag naa gamy problem. It seems nga mawad.an og power ang akong CPU after a few hours... after a thorough diagnosis, I've found out that the problem lies on the Power chord for the motherboard...

Apparently, dapat dli xa i-tighten (i-clip) sa motherboard kay kung hugot ra, dli xa muboot...so, ako ra gi-loosely connect xa sa mobo..problem is, after pila ka hours ma sobrahan tingali ka loosen or matandog jd, ma-wa nasd ang power...

**Unsaon akong buhaton para masulbad ni? Any suggestions, mga gurus?
**Nya, unsaon nako pag-confirm sa akong diagnosis nga sakto (connection to mobo prob)... d ba kaha na daut jd ang PSU ani?

    Help pls, ty.

wala nako g.lock ang latch...kay kung i.lock nako, d mn xa mu-on... so, unsa man ako buhaton ani?.. d mn xa mu.on kung i.lock nako ang latch...nakataud xa pero gamay nlng tulod,ma-lack na ang latch..
