    Default Cebuano Chivalry gone?

share lang ko sa ako experience:

while riding the free shuttle service offered by supercat, i noticed that all of those standing were women (myself included).
for myself, its ok, but what was disappointing was that there was a group old ladies standing and none of the men offered their seat (as in wala jud). i couldn't help comparing with MRT rides where men would offer their seats to old ladies. only men who pretended
sleep didn't. i kept thinking that if i had a seat i would have offered it to one of the old ladies. i was even more ashamed when i realized
that its their first time in Cebu because they kept asking for directions. i wonder what they thought of Cebuano chivalry...
in fairness to the men though, they were helpful in giving directions...hahaha

    what do u think?

it's possible that not all male passengers at that time were cebuanos. thus they won't dare judge/discriminate.
if ever they do, they'll probably generalize men to be such these days.

i went to Tacloban and Cagayan this summer and noticed the same thing. just that it's not just the men this time but also the women. people these days to think of themselves rather than others.(which is sad)

    care to be different?
