anyone heard about this movie? im trying to look for it cz my frnd keeps on telling me to look for this movie but i simply dnt knw wer to find this.. its not a new movie as well.

U r ryt it is an old one (late 2006 or early 2007 I guess)...... I think this was shown in cable (HBO) last year.....

It is based on a novel by a French author re the life story of a unique serial killer with a voracious sense of smell.

Nyc kay faithful to the novel but you have to listen to the narration to keep track of the story. I suggest you read the book then see the movie....

p.s. the title is "Perfume" (without the "the"). among its stars is my idol Dustin Hoffman as the perfume maker who became the killer's mentor. nice choice coz of hoff's large nose

ako nadumduman gpangita nya ang 13th scent, and he thought naa ang scent sa female body mao naa cxa gpamatay na girls kay iya g experiment.

.....and the victims have to be virgins.....

.....cant forget how he escaped being executed - he released the scent to the air and the people was so overwhelmed by it they had an orgy in the street......

.....and his demise was "poetic justice", he dabbed the remaining perfume upon himself in the market where he was born; in the place where his loveless life started. All those gathered around him regarded him like an angel from heaven. In his end he found the love he dreamed of....

dont gross out folks, i think the director did a wonderful job of not making the film bloody disgusting.... there were no close-ups during the execution and ending scenes so no gore ......

nice movie..... liked the book too....
