(note: this is for upgrading in general...)

the question might be "would you be satisfied with the upgrade?" basin man gud mu-upgrade ka nya dili ra gihapon ka ma-kontento sa upgrade nimo... nya inig human, sige nalang dayon ka ug upgrade kung unsa'y pwede nimo ma-upgrade tungod dili ka satisfied sa results (take note, mas limited na imong upgrade options)... mahulog na hinuon na mas dako imong magasto.

i'd suggest selling your proc, motherboard, ram, and video card (kung agp pa) so you have more funds for your upgrade. btw, you don't have to get the newest boards... just one that you will be happy using for at least 1 to 1.5 years before upgrading again. you'll have more upgrade options by getting a newer board (amd- or intel-based).

if you hold on to your existing board and accompanying parts, there will come a time when you can no longer sell it for a good price tungod kay daan na kaayo...

I understand. Pero i think im gonaa hold on to this. It's funny because I really did upgrade my video card(agp pa ghapon), added ram just recently, changed my power supply with a new one kay mao to hinungdan nga magrestart cge and pc, change my ide cables, and changed my defective ide dvdrom drive. Di na nko mauli daghan na kau.hehe ok rman pd ko ani kay di man ko tig duwa ug bug-at kau na duwa. So I thought maybe if i upgrade my processor OK na cgro. Would a 2.6ghz upgrade from 1.6ghz make a visible speed increase? In terms of startup and running programs/games(Starcraft,warcraft(which i experience lagging when playing 5v5 thats with AI,CS, Watching Movies)?
