My simple setup...I made it from 8:00 am to around 8:15 am this morning
It's a toilet paper tube, expanded to fit the collar of my S3IS, with a Gauge 10 welder's glass taped onto the opening.

...but I now seriously think that moderating the iStorya.net science forum is like being one of those barbecue sellers at New Larsian, who constantly and furiously (like a Michael Jackson gone mad) make "bugaw" to the "langaws" that just love to land on the yummy, glistening surface of all the meat that's being sold there. I say this, because no matter how much I remind and warn people of the grave consequences that would arise if they do not follow that subforum's rules, it ...

Watched it live today. Finally, after 4 aborted attempts (it was supposed to launch last June), it's now finally in orbit.

I took this snapshot off NASA TV, about 48 seconds after launch...



Note the vapor condensation forming around the ET and nose of the shuttle...amazing to watch it on video...there will be lots of it in YouTube the next few hours so I won't bother ...
