Everyone can define the difference between yesterday and today.

“Kaniadto sa bata pa ako”. A line from a Visayan novelty song which I shared to people I choose and love. Cultures and values of a native Cebuano/Bisaya are within my blood. And yes, Im speaking of Cebuano/Bisaya people, it’s culture and of course it’s dialects.

Niadto lang niaging semana nagpatugtog ...

Ang sugbo maoy akong yutang tabunon. Dili ko kini ibaylo sa uban.

Sa akong pagkahimugso ning kalibutan, maoy akong namat-an ang kanindot sa palibot. Kana bitawng kabugnaw ang perming magpasulabi, mohampas ug mohalok sa imong aping bisan sa nalagiting sidlak sa adlaw. Sa ngadto-ngadto akong nasinati dihang may nitubo nang kabuot sa akong bayhon nga ang kalibutan nga akong nasigpatan sa kahayag usa ka kalibutan nga haruhay, ug puno sa katam-is ug kalinao.

THE PHILIPPINE AIR LINES Airbus A300 touched down on the tarmac of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) without the slightest jar in the early morning of June 24, 2009. It was a superb show of skill by the pilot of whose plane he flew through on the heels of a signal number 2 storm from Cebu to Manila.

I was quite worried leaving Cebu on a 6:15 AM flight knowing that there is a weather disturbance ...

What is better? A lie that draws a smile or the truth that draws a tear?
