it's a different feeling holding someone's arms. The unity and connectivity emphasizes togetherness. The grip of each other's palm creates a different warm chemistry. Another sort of feeling next to holding your both hands while praying.

PS: kabaw ko bakashey nganu imo tan.awon ang kamot sa nag sakay sa jeep hehehe

@fred1981: I don't know why Bear Brand does not host such kite festivals now...Wish they would so we could not miss childhood and relive days when we're carefree and naive...

@hot_item: Makamiss indeed...I guess this is what the former generation had that the new generation missed...

I have neglected to include that this MTB is only evident in the lower grades, 1 until 3. There might be a precedence to the imposition of the said medium. As for now, I'm hopeful the "heads" will stay firm and assertive and not capricious.

Sheessh, one day, we will become a mish mash of languages.

the mother tongue-based instruction was suppose to set a direction to an otherwise lost people trapped in a dissonant linguistic limbo. English is understood little by little children, and is even spoken less. this is the majority 'masa', not the English-speaking slice of the middle class.

there is one rule with Languages: they become better the more you use them. and since we do not use pure Cebuano in everyday conversations, preferring to code-switch to English (as well as to other languages depending on one's orientation), Cebuano as a common-use language has degenerated: too many of its words are now no longer used.

but wait, there might be a surprise waiting to happen.

in communities where code-switching is negligible to non-existent, using the mother tongue as the language of instruction is a blessing. people in the province might end up to be "more Cebuano", since they use the language better, than those of us in the cities.

I think nagpa hipi ra imong prince harming sa kilid2x sis! Hahaha! But you know what? I'm so confident you'll find Mr Right. If someone like me managed to somehow snatch one, ikaw pa? I'm seriously mentally Not Right. My own dad, at one point, was worried nga dili daw ko ma minyo kay naa daw koy gilukdo! Hahaha! Pero ka luoy ni Lord, naka kita ra man pud ko'g Prince Charming nga na in lab nako. Pramis, wala ko ni gamit ug lumay! Mao na, confident kaayo ko, your love story, it's just starting.
