Sa mga sys ad, just wanna ask if kinsay nakasuway ninyo ug Alfresco Community Free Edition. This is an alternative to Microsoft's SharePoint.

Recently, I've installed an alfresco 5.0.a on an Ubuntu Server 12.0.4LTS, and been testing its features. So far, it's been doin' its purpose. Mimic what sharepoint can do (Although, SharePoint is still the best therein in the Enterprise World).

I would appreciate if you could share your ideas, tweaks, etc. to optimize the systems performance.

Actually I would say nga di man kaayo bug-at sir knowing that I hosted it in a Virtualized Environment (Proxmox), with 2 servers with Java Intensive Apps (Zimbra & Alfresco).

Akong server is a 9th generation Dell PowerEdge R200 with 4gig RAM, Intel Xeon 3.2Ghz QuadCore, around 146x4 SAS Disk in RAID 5 Disk Array Config.

As usual, java takes a lot of memory resources, but so far with 20Users currently we've enrolled for testing purposes, performance is remarkable.

However, naa lang mga ginagmay difference jud siya sa sharepoint. Usa na ana is Customized Workflow, Email Integration (though maka-send siya ug notifications).

But for SMEs who are looking for a similar functions, murag ok ra jud...
