    Smile Support Group for People wanting to lose weight in 2014


    Hi. Before I got married I was 167 pounds in weight. Now, I am 217 pounds. 5 years ago, I was lean and energetic. Now, all I do is stare at the tv and microwave dinners.
    50 pounds in 5 years. Di nako ma imagine na inana ka grabeh akong na gain. I want to lose weight more than ever but I need support and motivation. This is why I created this thread para magtinabangay ta.

    Here are the rules:

    1. We start Jan.2 (Give chance ta sa Jan.1)

    2. We only measure ourselves during the 15th and 30th of the month. (dont weigh yourselves daily. bad idea)

    3. We are only allowed to have one cheat day every week. (eat anything you want)

    4. we will help each other in terms of recipes, answering questions, diets, strategies, tips and so on...


    May unta naay ma enganyo mu join. Post mo sa inyong starting weight and goal. 4 month program ni ato. may 2 ang atong final day pang summer bah.


    My starting weight: 217 lbs. My target weight: 165 lbs My acceptable weight: 180 lbs.

    i'll go with this. I'm 5'1 and currently 85 kilos. around 3 years ago, I'm sure I'm around 50-55 kilos only.Current Weight: 187 Pounds. Target: 140 Pounds.

    178lbs, 5'6 tall, medium built. target 130lbs.


    I started jogging/running last year. lasted a year until I had an injury.

    losing weight did happen but then I gain back the pounds cuz I cook a lot then eat..... specially after running.

    I stopped running to give my injury time to heal.

    My form of exercise currently is househld chores. about 1-2 hours daily right after work. and also about 1 kilometer walk from emall to Citilink so I could ride a jeep to talisay.

    I can control what I eat but I don't have much time for exercise. If I exercise, I will lose 4 hours out of my 5-6 hours sleep. I work at night.

    currently, were starting the year with either corn grits or red rice as part of our diet.


    and oh! I have hormonal problems... I have PCOS.

    but looking at the bright side, way back 2011 I weight 209 lbs.

    I'll just repost what I shared in the other thread about my weight loss program which I am following for three months now out of trial and error process...


    REPOST:

    I tried juicing a couple of weeks ago, I got sick lols
    I think it's not working for my system since I have tummy probs
    even before I started dieting so I went back to my formula

    Here's what I've been doing for three months now:

    Eating lifestyle:

    * weekdays *

    morning - wheat bread and jam with coffee or oatmeal and fruits with water
    lunch - half cup or cupful of rice (depends) with fish and veggies with pineapple juice/fresh buko or water
    dinner - (after work out) a bowl of assorted sliced fruits or veggie salad

    * weekends *

    I rarely use these days as cheat days kay sayangan ko sa ako gpasingot hehehe
    so I take in small portions of meat but stick jud ko one cup of rice, pawala sa ibog.
    Then ice cream or a slice of cake, happy nako ana

    Work out regimen:

    I work out everyday so 1 hour cardio before and after gym
    and 1 hour zumba (on Tuesdays, 2 hours) and on Thursday,
    two hours walking in the evening since gym ko morning then
    MWF with added 1 hour abs and weight training

    UPDATE:
    With Thursday activity, I added hoops shooting as alternative to
    walking around the oval since I love basketball. I'm also eyeing
    on going back to playing badminton soon

    Oi martin since we are cuzins well technically im ur uncle hahaha. Apil napud ko. Im 5.5 at 225 lbs ideal weight 155. Lowest i got last 2013 eas 170lbs. Weighed myself todAy and im at 176lbs target weight is 155 i have to lose 21 lbs by march

    @lifeisbeyeeutiful - great job sis. Hope ma motivate mi nimo hehe. One thing lang ako na bantay sa imo diet kay need nimo more protein. Better to eat half rice and more protein than vice versa

    I've been staying away from meat since I started the program, it makes me feel so bloated.
    I don't drink milk pod hehehe... So far, I'm feeling great with this new lifestyle (diet)
