The machine is tuned for Chrome OS, I don't think it is advisable to install Windows 7 or any other resource hog OS other than very light Linux builds and Chrome OS.
I tried Chrome OS, it runs on a 800 mhz + 256 MB RAM Virtual machine. It is fast, but internet ra jud ka (Browsing, chatting, video).
If you want more functionality, naay distribution built using Open Suse. It is Chrome OS on top.
