Congested, unreliable, slow-response, not well structured ones can slow browsing experience.
Below are the results of benchmark with PLDT DSL Line.
PLDT DSL PH: 58.69.254.3
PLDT DSL-2 PH: 58.69.254.8
Smart Bro PH: 121.1.3.81
Smart Comm PH-3: 202.57.96.3
Google Public DNS: 8.8.8.8
Google Public DNS-2: 8.8.4.4
Fastest Individual Response
Margin of 200ms
Each server received 250 name queries.
From Top 2000 Alexa Websites.(250 ra ang gkuha.)
In terms of accuracy & availablility, reliable ang Google DNS with small overhead on Local ISP.
But reponse rate & availability, Smart Bro PH.
My ISP DNS is not good enough.

mga boss, mumatter ba ni ang DNS servers sa online games? og sa mga online/multiplayer using gaming consoles? affected ba sad ang mga P2P nga connections ani or para sa browsing lang ni?

m4a1 : for browsing purposes na cya, but naay online games mag require dns para sa web display.
