naa man mga barato ra nga local units bro. bahala na mas daan nga model kay sa surplus pero atleast kabaw ka nga original na tanan dili converted.
lagi but my point is walay local ni "FIT" sa ako budget and requirement nga na fill in sa surplus.spent months ngita both local ug surplus and ended up with my choice kay if i go local mahal ra kaayo(think of more than half my budget ug wala na pud mahibilin para other expenses).kung akoy pa but-on i could have bought local kung sobra ako kwarta.mao ra man ako nakaya so i'm sticking with this.important naa ko magamit.not everybody has extra money to spare. bottomline budget dictates choices over desire.

I get ur point. Unsa.on man bro Mao Raman maabot but it doesn't mean nga bati ang surplus, ang Aku Lang mu prefer gihapon ku ug local bahala ug mas lower end compared to the surplus. Unsa diay nga car imu napalit?

Naa man advantage sa surplus. Naka palit mi years ago EK hatch na naa pa nako karon. Lipay kaayo ko niya and I found that it drives better than local brand new cars. My wife does not like to deal with maintaining cars and bought a 2006 Hi-Lux, 2009 1.5 Vios and a 2012 Elantra over the years and I found that both these cars can't compare to my hatch. Sa pila na katuig namo kay wala ko kagasto ani dako, just some small parts that need replacing but are expensive and difficult to find because I like brand new parts.

Buying a surplus is the same as local unit -- paswertehanay lang. Naa ko amigo na nagpalit local used units (both Civics) at about the same time and both nagproblema sila sa ila local unit -- ang usa daghan nag crop na taya etc. and ang usa kay problema sa transmission and suspension which cost them dearly.

So if ganahan ka wala labad sa ulo buy na lang brand new kay wala man advantage ang local used pud in my opinion. But ang surplus ra sad karon kay Mindanao registered na which is a big red flag to spend your hard-earned money and daghan na putol-putol pag sulod diri, which is a potential long term problem.

I have aired my opinion on this issue before but here is my take again on this..,bro, if I am in your shoes, this is what I will do to simplify things ..I will categorize my requirements on the car that I will purchase into NEEDS and WANTS...then justify on each one of them..ang NEEDS dali ra na given na..e.q. Economical, Reliable, etc..ang usual conflict ani sa WANTS na..and di lang sa either surplus ba or local, it could be unsa na awto..usually the WANTS distort the NEEDS..kay if ato gyud pugson ang atong WANTS, dapat ready ta sa consequences..cguro bro, think it over kung nganu FIT gyud imong gusto..coz uso2? kay naa ka planu I-modify? does it cover your NEEDS? you mentioned that budget dictates your choices..willing ba ka sa risk o consequences sa surplus? if willing ka, go ahead sa surplus FIT..but if tan-aw nimo mas bug-at ang NEEDS and budget is a factor, daghan kaau lain na choices na local..been there, done that..nipugos kog palit ug SUV na sikat sa una na gasoline, it was a WANT more than anything else, a diesel AUV could have compensated for my needs and that of my wife, kay mao lagi "IN" sa una..so ang nahitabo cge ko reklamo sa fuel consumption, mahal kaau maintenance, my wife had a hard time magpark tungod sa size..nahitabo tagsa ra namu gamiton! pagkatoytoy! cge kog yaw2, and definitely ang huna2 sa mga tao nako ato "nganung ni-enter?" at the end gibaligya ug barato and we went back to a smaller sedan..daghan naman mga opinion imo nabasa diri regarding pros/cons of local and surplus, so its up to you to weigh and decide..just my two cents..good luck!

try to back read.i never mentioned na ako gipalit kay honda fit.what i meant is "fit" na sukod.i have my own set of requirements (i wouldn't discuss unsa) to include the cost of ownership and i'm not the person na mag sunod sa uso (even my clothes speak of it) or tig modify i.e mag wheels, entertainment systems or pang drag/racing or pang car show.in short it's a "working" vehicle that also matches my work(again i won"t tell what ako work). well, i don't expect everybody to agree with my choice because you don't know the other circumstances behind my choice and i opted not to share it in detail even what type of vehicle i bought basta i said in my previous post "korean surplus" and it is has a diesel engine.what is important it serves my needs/requirements and so far it "fits" .i've weighted the consequences and on my end kaya ra nako.i don't know sa uban.no need to wish me luck.

Pwerte nang lisora pag renew sa surplus units karon. Ang LTO on line renewal registration dili na maka process because walay customs payment. Kulang og requirements pag initial registration.
