    Mga Master,

    I just want to thank all of you, bow jud ko ninyo tanan. Because of your posts, I am constantly motivated to continue this newfound passion. As you might all know by now, I'm not really a runner. In fact, nagtuga-tuga ra jud kog apil sa IRC.

    In our family, no one is an athlete. We were never encouraged to join any sport. The turning point was in January, when my lolo was rushed to the emergency room because of stroke and I saw him suffer a seizure. It was bad. I weighed 184 lbs then. And it just hit me... I have to do something about my health. I changed my eating habit, and one morning decided to go out, my feet took me to Abellana oval.

    At first, walk ra jud ko, di nako kaya mag-jog. Little by little, I was able to complete jogging the oval before breaking into a walk again. Man, was I mighty proud! It might mean a little to a lot of people, but that day after I did it, I felt really good! And then came the Good Run, my first ever fun run. And seeing all those runners, WOW! I saw a kid, maybe around 10-yrs old, going the 21k! If he can do it, so can I!

    Sa pag-join nako diri sa IRC, I have Sir Takas to thank for. Nahadlok ko at first basin ma-snob ko kay siyempre di baya ko runner. But I want to be one. When we had our first meeting, I didn't know what to expect. Nagduha-duha ko, unsa man mouli nalang ko? But thank you guys for being nice maski duha ra mi nga babaye.

    Right now, I'm down to 168 lbs. I have a long way to go. Kung wa pa ko ning-apil sa IRC, hagbay ra ko ning-undang aning dagan-dagan. But reading your posts everyday, it gives me the drive to go on. For now, pasensyahi lang sa ko ninyo. Murag dugay pa jud ko makaabot sa inyong level. But I'm determined to reach where you are today.

    So again, thank you and sorry for the long post.

    Guys, mga ka-bro ug mga ka-sis na hilig sa paugnat sa kusug (running) just wanna share. Naay C.U.C organized LSD 69kM this coming April 29, 2012 basin naa ganahan mo join. Ang route is plaza indepencia-danao-plaza indepencia with finisher's medal. This is open to all. Pwedi ra ta mag jog-walk-walk-walk ani kung dili na jud makaya.hehehe.Wala daw cut-off time. Pwedi ra ta mo run in group (IRC) ani.Naa makaon and hydrations every stations.

    maam pariha ta.... ako ma share lang kay tungod jud aning IRC kay dako kayo na usab sakong kinabuhi.. di nako tapulan pariha sauna... ako blood pressure ni lower najud.... ang greatest achievement nako kay ako timbang.. compared last september na akong weight kay 98kg... pero last thursday nag weight ko balik. current weight kay 78kg... dako kayo nawala... mayta karun thursday mo gamay pajud like 76 something... dako kayo ko pasalamat ani na community ug uban pang istoryans na nag motivate ug nag hatag ug inspiration nako na mupadayon aning bisyuha.. and most of all pasalamat jud ko sa GINO.O!!!

    boss yiox, asa dapit ang registration ug pila sab? pwede ba mag 34.5km lang kutob lang sa danao? as training for 42km

    Mam scorpionqueen........We are also VERY PROUD to have you in IRC,,,,I sincerely hope that your life story as a novice runner would advance to become a motivational story that would inspire others as well.

    Pareho ra man pud ta mam nga beginner aning running ....,mao pa gyud pag 7 months nako sa running although sports active na gyud ko bisag sauna pa..... pero ang IMUHA gyud mam nga story sa pagsugod maoy mas dako ug impact ug mas mka inspire sa kadaghanan labi na sa mga newbies......Hats off ko nimu idol scorpionqueen

    ug parehas nimu ako dako pud ug pasalamat sa atong mga ka members sa IRC.....pero dili gyud nako hikalimtan nga kun pud dili tungod sa approval boss BeoR ug sa dakong tabang ni boss Melvithegreat dili pud ni ma mugna atong grupo karon.
