    Plain water can already disperse the sunlight. :) But the bleach prolongs the growth of algae which can block the sunlight from passing through. At least, you won't have to take out the water bottle...

    Yep! Distilled or mineral water is preferred as there are lesser microbial count. Bleach solution will kill anything. Even the HPV virus. :)
